Weather & Cancellations
CANCELLATION POLICY: Customers with an order LESS than $500 must give us a 7 day advance notice of cancellation for any event to avoid a cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made within 7 days of an event date a customer is SUBJECT to a 1/2 (half) price cancellation fee if the unit/s reserved are not able to be re-rented. If the units are re-rented the cancellation fee is waived.
Customers with an order MORE than $500 must give us a 14 day advance notice of cancellation for any event to avoid a cancellation fee. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of an event date a customer is SUBJECT to a 1/2 (half) price cancellation fee if the unit/s reserved are not able to be re-rented. If the unit/s are re-rented the cancellation fee is waived for those units only.
If an event needs to be rescheduled to another date there is no fee. This rescheduling however must be done by the customer at least 7 days before the original reserved event to avoid any fees or penalties. This fee will be determined on an event by event basis by Bounce A Lot.
DEPOSITS / REFUNDS: There are no refunds on deposits made. However we offer a Rain Check CREDIT for 2 YEARS for any future events. Any Rain Check credits on deposits will be applied through Bounce A Lot to your next event and will last for 2 YEARS from the original event date.
WEATHER CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULING: Severe weather cancellations will be determined by Bounce A Lot office staff and the customers 24 hours before the event. Cancellations due to SEVERE weather (50% or higher chance of heavy winds, storms, and lightning or ALL day rain) must be made BY PHONE ONLY (813-996-2935) by NOON the day BEFORE your event. If a customer decides to have their event and confirms their delivery with Bounce A Lot the day before their event then the equipment and rental can not be cancelled for any reason after that confirmation without penalty of a half price cancellation fee. If Bounce A Lot has to cancel an event on the morning of the event due to unsafe or severe weather and we can't safely make the retnal delivery there is never a penalty or fee to the customer.
Florida weather changes day to day. We encourage our customers to watch the weather reports right up to the day prior to their event before calling to cancel! Pay attention to the TIME of expected poor weather. Most times the severe weather is not expected during your party times. We unfortunately have had customers in the past cancel the day before against our recommendations only to have perfect weather on their event day and call to ask for a delivery we can't make. *We will do the best we can to help you in this area!
